Our Story

The Devens Grill has been serving guests since 2005 when it was established in the Devens Common, a planned Center in the heart of Devens, MA.

Our goal has been and continues to be create an atmosphere that allows our guests to relax, reflect, and recharge in a familiar and inviting environment. We strive to have our guests make our place their go to place.

We prepare scrumptious, mouthwatering dishes that both excite the palate and bring forth memories of home and comfort. From our locally grown produce to our hand cut choice meats, our goal is to provide guests with the food they crave. Our portions are big because we want our guests to take them home to enjoy again and let the experience linger.

Our mixologists create delicious cocktails, from the familiar classics to more unique, handcrafted libations. We aim to go beyond just drinks, creating an experience, memories, and an instant wow factor to accompany our delectable dishes.

To realize our life-long desire to create amazing memories and entertain guests, we purchased the
Devens Grill in 2018.

It was our way of unleashing our passion for cooking. For decades, our friends and family encouraged us to open a restaurant and share our passion with a larger audience and we are delighted to bring this passion to fruition with the Devens Grill.

About Vivek

After a successful, 25+ year executive career that took me to over 45 countries, meeting and working with people from all over the world, and more importantly, sampling food and drinks from various cultures and people, I made the decision to own a restaurant and realize the dream I have had for years.

I am a self-proclaimed “foodie” and nothing makes me happier than create dishes and drinks that surprise and delight guests.

About Rama

An architect by trade, I started to cook in my early teenage years. I have been told that I have the ability to closely replicate dishes I have encountered in my travels around the world.

My passion for cooking has led to several opportunities to cater specialized food for both small parties and intimate family gatherings over the years.

Beyond cooking, I love to paint, knit, and spend time with close friends when time allows.

We hope to go beyond simply creating great food and drinks for our guests, helping to cultivate memorable events that remain with every guest and their craving to come back to the Devens Grill again and again.

Ours is a place where familiar faces greet you, remember your names, and ultimately inspire long-lasting memories.
